We had a choice of 4 to chose from and I have decided to look at the close up assignment.

I have decided that I will do one of my old cameras.. Not sure which one, maybe my MPP. or my Graphlex.
Ok, so here it is.
No big deal, I set up my MPP large format camera in my home studio on a tripod, an lit it with a 60W video spot light. I used my canon 5D II with my 28-105mm lens on another tripod set it to 3200ISO an shot with it at f/4.
I tried to get small details, and used the shallow depth of field to try to isolate individual parts.
There was only one shot i used f/16 for, where i thought a large depth of field would be better.
Post production was really just minor levels adjustments and cropping.
Here they are.
In conclusion, I think with this I have ended up creating a series of technical photographs rather then art pieces... I think that I will rethink this and maybe pick another subject maybe even out doors... let's have a think.
